What is the best way to prep walls prior to painting? Part 1? - best way to prep linen for oil painting

My old house has changed over the years created and fine wrinkles in the paint on the walls inside. Were filled, and filled with successive movements of the earth, thinking of the structure is sound. What is the best way to hide the ugly lines?

Scrape all the girls and expansion cracks easily with a scraper. Suck implement empty, and clean water. Let dry. 50/50 mixture of water and PVA glue, for cracks.Leave drying. Use cracks.Use Filla mixed on a credit card or a similar implementation lenghtways applied along the crack. Allow to dry and added to either sand or Filla as needed. Apply second coat of PVA If everything is correct and water. let dry. Job done
